Who we are

LogieBear Sound & Lighting is the trade name of LogieBear Sound and Light LLC, a DJ and event entertainment company based in Columbus, Ohio. "We," "us," and "our" in this policy mean that company.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you fill out the inquiry form or the Join the Team form, email, call, text, or book with us, we collect what you share: names, email address, phone number, event date, venue, guest count, budget, and planning details such as timelines and song requests.

Payment information. Card payments are processed by our payment provider. We see that a payment was made and the amount, but we do not see or store your full card number.

Website usage. Like most sites, ours uses cookies and similar tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Cloudflare Web Analytics, and the Meta Pixel) to understand which pages are useful and how people find us. These tools collect things like pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location.

How we use it

To answer your inquiry, check availability, send quotes and agreements, plan and perform your event, collect payments, keep our books and tax records, and send follow-up emails about your inquiry or booking. You can unsubscribe from non-essential emails at any time using the link in the email.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the people and services that help us do the job: DJs and crew assigned to your event, and service providers for email, scheduling, payment processing, bookkeeping, and website hosting. Those providers may only use it to provide their service to us.

Text messaging: we do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in information with third parties for their marketing.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Inquiry and booking records are kept as long as they are useful for your event and our business, and financial records for as long as tax law requires.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your inquiry, scheduled calls, and your event. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help.

We do not sell or share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing Logan@LogieBearSNL.com. We will keep only what we are legally required to keep, such as payment records. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings.

Children

Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
