General Questions
What areas do you serve? +
All of Columbus and Central Ohio with no travel charge, including Dublin, Hilliard, Powell, New Albany, Upper Arlington, Grove City, and Marysville. We also regularly work Dayton, Cincinnati, and Akron, and travel for those gets quoted up front so there are no surprises. Full list on the service area page.
Do you only do weddings? +
No. Weddings are most of what we do, but we also DJ corporate events and galas, private parties, and nightlife, from bar nights and club residencies to festivals.
Who will actually be at my event? +
LogieBear is owner-led and runs as a team. You'll know exactly who's DJing your event before you book, so there are no surprises on the day.
How do we hold our date? +
A signed agreement and a 30% retainer, together. One without the other doesn't hold the date, and nothing gets held on a verbal yes. The rest of the payment schedule is on the pricing page.
How fast will we hear back after reaching out? +
Usually within minutes. Every inquiry through the contact form gets an automatic confirmation with next steps, and a personal reply follows. The form asks for your date, venue, guest count, and budget up front, so the first reply can confirm availability and get right to the details.
Can we rent equipment without booking a DJ? +
Yes. Speakers, lighting, and DJ gear rent on their own for your event or gig, and the photo booth and audio guestbook both book with or without a DJ. Everything that's available is on the rentals page.
How is a non-wedding event priced? +
It's quoted per event, because the scope swings a lot between a two-hour company happy hour and an all-day festival stage. Send the date, venue, hours, and a rough headcount, and you'll get a real number back, not a range. Weddings are the exception: flat-rate packages from $3,000, all on the pricing page.
What happens after we book? +
You get a login to your planning portal, where your timeline, music picks, and event details all live in one place. It stays open the whole way through, so you can add things as they get decided instead of all in one sitting. We also check in as the date gets closer.
