About

Nine years.
500+ nights.
One job.

I started in clubs. That part shaped everything.

When you DJ at a club, the test is brutally simple: did the floor stay full? If it didn't, you don't get the next booking. There's no "well, the playlist was nice." Either people are dancing or they're getting their coats.

That's where I learned the actual craft — beat-matching live, reading energy in real time, knowing when to drop the obvious banger and when to stretch the room one more song before the payoff. None of that came from a course. It came from getting it wrong on a Tuesday night in front of 80 people and figuring out why.

Nine years in, I run that same instinct at weddings, corporate events, and private parties across Central Ohio. The gear is more polished, the audience is more dressed up, but the job is the same: keep it moving, never let it drop, never play the cliché.

I've mixed 500+ events at this point — first dances, brand activations, milestone birthdays, full-on club nights, multi-day conferences. The thing every one of them had in common is that I didn't run a playlist. I ran the room.

That's all the LogieBear pitch is. I'm not the cheapest DJ in Columbus. I'm probably not the loudest marketer either. I'm the one you hire when you actually care that the night is mixed by someone paying attention.

How I work

Four rules.
No exceptions.

01

Live mixing, every time.

No auto-sync. No 'next song fade.' Every transition is beat-matched in the moment, because that's the only way the floor stays moving.

02

Read the room, not the trend.

What works at one wedding bombs at the next. Same room can shift three times in a night. The job is reading it — not pushing my taste.

03

No cheese, no clichés.

If a line makes me cringe, I won't say it on a mic. Polished MC delivery in your voice, never the canned wedding-DJ schtick.

04

Show up early, leave clean.

I'm at your venue 90 minutes before doors. Setup is silent and out of the way. Breakdown is fast and respectful of the space.
